The SDSDC is comprised primarily of amateur dog trainers and handlers. Each month we hold a membership meeting and a club event. Our events consist of training days, safety shoots, picnics, seminars, or sometimes a shoot to retrieve or a competitive type of event.
All events are planned with the goal of learning, having fun, and maybe a little friendly competition thrown in at times.
Our club welcomes new members and enjoys the opportunity to help and support them. As a new member you will be encouraged to learn all aspects of the “training experience” For example how to be safe during training, and of course, how to plant birds.
There are always friendly folks willing to assist and help as you jump in.
